2007 Weed Pulling Party
One more time, dedicated volunteers showed up in November to help find milfoil in Balch Lake at this annual event. Some put on waders and looked for milfoil, others hauled bags or buckets of weeds and worked side-by-side with trained professionals. The event was followed by a well-deserving cookout.

Donations in good condition can be dropped off at the Willson’s Cottage, 20 Green Bay Road, in Shady Nook, 207-636-3292. Contributions for a bake sale are greatly appreciated too. We hope to raise more than we did in the Auction of 2006, which had combined auction, cook book and bake sale rasing $3,344! Every dime goes to support the BLIMP efforts to keep our lake beautiful.
