Because of our high participation, we were one of the few lakes that received a full grant of $3,500.00 from the State of NH for the upcoming year. Their granting process is based mainly on community involvement. We had to submit a form defining how we are organized and funded. We were notified that we were ranked second to Lake Sunapee out of 62 lakes in NH that are fighting milfoil. We also received a $1,000.00 grant from the State of Maine.
