2009 July 4th RAFFLE and BAKE SALE
Here's 3 ways to support our lake: (1) purchase raffle tickets, (2) bake, or (3) donate items to raffle! On the evening of July 4th, Anne Wilson will raffle off 20-30 items and call the luck winners on July 5th. Tickets are $1 each, $5 for 6, or $10 for 12 tickets. Here's a peak at a few items:
• a Lucy Moscaritolo afghan
• a Peter Ommundson painting of your cottage
• Joanne Kelcourse framed water color of area in Balch
• a wine basket loaded with goodies
• a beach basket with more goodies
• gift certificates to restaurants
• embroidered and loon T shirts
• a high performance table top fan for your camp
To contribute merchandise or buy raffle tickets, contact Anne or Lee Willson at 207-636-3292. Leave a message before July 4th with the number of tickets you want. Then stop by or mail your check to BLIMP, 20 Greenbay Rd, W. Newfield ME 04095. They will gladly pickup donations.
Bake Sale is at the Shady Nook Rec Center on July 4th from 9:30 - 10:30. Always delicious. Why bake yourself? Anyone wanting to donate goods can drop them off at 9:30 or call Elaine Hall 207-636-3814 for earlier delivery.
